Radical Dot’s “BossBaby” is running
UVC Partners: From plastic waste to valuable molecules. Radical Dot’s “BossBaby” is running.
Radical Dot is building an oxidative recycling process that converts mixed plastic waste into valuable chemical feedstocks. Instead of mechanically downgrading materials, the goal is to break plastics down into molecules that the chemical industry can reuse, enabling true circularity at an industrial scale.
The new pilot, internally called “BossBaby,” was commissioned for continuous operation and is already generating critical process learnings. This matters for their upcoming demonstration plant. In chemical recycling, the real challenge is not proving reactions in the lab, it’s running them reliably, iterating fast, and engineering towards scale. And this is exactly what the Radical Dot team is doing.
Behind this milestone is real momentum: 500+ experiments last year, growing team, and the first demo plant already in design for this year.
All that’s left to say is: Radical Dot is clearly in build mode. And we’re excited to see their next steps towards industrial deployment!
