Radical Dot awarded €3.9 Million via Federal Funding for Industry and Climate Action (BIK) programme
Radical Dot has been officially awarded ~3.9 Million Euros through the Federal Funding for Industry and Climate Action (BIK) programme! 🌍
With the support of the BMWE (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy) and the Kompetenzzentrum Klimaschutz in energieintensiven Industrien (KEI), we are taking a massive leap forward in our mission to transform plastic waste into cost-competitive chemical building blocks.
The Project: Plastinery 🧪
This funding will accelerate the development of our novel chemical recycling process, enabling us to scale from a pilot phase to a first-of-a-kind 200kg/day demonstration plant. With this support, we will produce locally manufactured, low-emission carboxylic acids with recycled content, serving as drop-in feedstocks for the European chemical industry.
Building this demonstration plant is critical not only from a technical perspective but also from a commercial one. Reaching this scale allows us to supply meaningful volumes for our first customer trials—an essential step towards securing long-term offtake agreements.
Our team cannot wait to get started! Stay tuned.
A huge thank you to the BMWE and the KEI team for their support and for investing in the future of German GreenTech!
