From lab concept to demo plant design

We’re moving at full speed. 2025 marked the shift from concept to an end-to-end process. We’ve made significant advancements in enabling the conversion of low-value mixed plastic waste into cost-competitive chemicals at scale.

Technology in Motion

In our second year, we moved from early experiments to building a pilot and are now designing our first demo plant. To make that happen, we strengthened our engineering capabilities.

From first idea to engineering reality: Fabian joined us as Head of Engineering, bringing 15+ years of experience scaling chemical recycling processes from the lab to commercial units. We are iterating and refining our engineering designs and will soon announce where our first demo plant will be built in 2026.

Our new pilot (“BossBaby”) is running!: Commissioned and built for continuous operation at kg-scale, this is a real beast, and already generating key learnings.

Tech and science innovation every day: With more than 500 experiments conducted in 2025, our team is leading the cutting-edge field of oxidative plastics recycling.

Building Momentum

With engineering progress underway, we’re reinforcing the foundation for scale — expanding our team, securing public funding, and building traction.

Serious team growth: We signed two offers on December 23rd, closing the year with 9 FTEs and 15+ students. With 8 nationalities across Europe, Asia, and North America, we are becoming truly international!

Grant funding: We’re about to announce a significant seven-digit funding programme from the German government – a great way to close the year. Stay tuned.

Commercial traction is on: While not public, we’re working closely across the value chain to deepen our engagement with future offtakers.
